Anyone heard anything about these cards. Suppost to be kem like, but a bit easier on the wallet. Was wondering if it was worth it. My buddy is looking for a set of the wide size kems and having trouble getting a good price.

Just ordered a set... I'll let you know how they are. There is a mini-review in the "news on kem"

I just played with my first deck of COPAG on Tuesday night. I have always played with KEM and did not notice a bit of difference. Same feel, durability, etc. which is good because I bend the hell out of cards when i shuffle and you couldn't tell. And at 4 decks for $16 vs. the $24 I recently paid for 2 KEM decks, I know which way I will go next time.

Let me amend that.
One bad thing about the COPAG's: I have never finished ITM in a tournament they were used.

most of what you pay for when you buy Kems is the name. they are the cards used in every major, and most minor, tournaments in the US. also, they are made in the USA. they used to be made by a small company that only specialized in plastic cards, but they were recently bought out by the united states playing card company, which i am not sure what that will do for their image.
i think copags are made in brazil and are probably not that far off from Kem quality, and with the shortage of Kems, it may be their time to break into the market. but people will just pay for the Kems, the image. i did, i have two decks, paid 17 and 13 bucks for them, and i love my kems.
another plastic card i know of is Royal. not sure where they are made, but those three are just about the only 100% plastic cards i know of. check out the card review at: http://www.homepokertourney.com/cards_review.htm
it is pretty informative.

Where did you find them for 4$ a deck?
I just got mine today and they seem slightly stiffer than KEMs but I've never played with new KEMs. Shuffle well, and no issues with the printing.

Hmmm... could it be? A successor to the throne of Card dominance? I will have to find a pair of these Copag Cards and see for myself. It would take a pretty remarkable card to tear me away from my KEM Arrow SI Poker Cards.

Found them on ebay. Tried to get some more the other day and the best I could find was $5- $6 a deck. Played with them some more this week. Still think they are a good card. I thought that they were less stiff than new KEM's. If I had to choose which was better I would definitely say KEM but these are a close second.

Copags are great. I rank them up there with Gemaco and Kems. They are however a lot better than Royal, Trump, and A Plus.
I like Gemacos the best and then Kem and Copags as dead even.
