I am thinking of getting these chips:

Can anyone here give me a review on these? Are there any better options in this price range?

13g is heavy as hell.

Im calling bogus on it though...650 13g clay chips that are 2 colored? For $160 bucks? If it is for real...that's a hell of a find.

Im pretty skeptical about this line -- "The design does incorporate a metal insert, but you wouldn't know it was there!"

I just found these:

I can't believe how cheap these are, but www.pokerchipsreview.com rates them highly. Does anyone have any experience with these? They sound like a good deal considering you can get 1,000 for $110.

Well chips like those are the basic of the basic. Most people nowadays go for more elaborate set ups. I don't know your situation, but buying chips like these will leave you wanting for more. I've been through three different sets of chips already. And I'm still not satisfied.

My advice. Save as much as you can for the best set possible. And if you want a Casino feel. Stick with 9g - 10g chips.

Yeah, those aren't even the 2 colored dice composite chips.

I agree here, you'll just end up wanting something better. 9g clay and you will be satisfied forever.
