 In yesterday's session I was being pretty aggressive with trying to get thin value on rivers with hands like TPNK or an underpair (JJ on a Q high board for example) against stations (they think they set awesome traps with their check/calls)... I often ran into situations where I could have saved myself money had I checked the river. But in general, is it a profitable play with this particular read, on hands that have been typically checked around on the turn, to try to get some value for your ok-to-mediocre hands on the end?

Practice makes perfect. Just keep trying to read hands and figure out when you can make these bets.
