My bet sizing was critized.

Help me out:
1/3 NL Live. In live you dont have a good read on the pot size so what do you think is a good betting structure.

JKDS is on a distinguished road
in live, you have to not be a lazy fuck and actually care to count what the pot size is.

You should always know what happened on previous streets. If you've been distracted by a waitress or something, and you're facing a bet or you want to bet, then count what's in the pot, and if you can't see it ask the dealer to spread the pot.
You should also know how big your opponents stacks are, and how big they will be in relation to the pot after you've made or called a bet. I can barely go two hands without having to ask someone to put their chips down or take their hands off them.

For example if you have a hand that you want to get the money in with and the pot is $34 and he has $100 behind, you're going to size a lot different than you would if he has $300.
Say you're oop. If he's more likely to call than he is to bet and he has a $100 stack, just bet 15 on the flop, 30 on the turn and he'll have half a psb on the river. If the relative stack is $300 then you need a different plan, but that is depends on a lot of things.

You said you play online too... post a hand history in the beginners circle... that will be way easier to comment on... your're basically asking us to explain the whole game to you. There is no set formula for bet sizing.
