Hey all just wondered if you guys could give me a few pointers,
Going to Vegas for 10 days over the summer (early June) there will be about 7/8 of us. Have about £800 to spend on flights and accom, wanting to stay on the strip. Just wondering which casinos have the best rooms and action.
Any help would be appreciated.

The strong point in poker is never to lose your temper, either with those you are playing with or, more particularly, with the cards. There is no sympathy in poker. Always keep cool. If you lose your head you will lose all your chips.

For poker you really cannot beat Bellagio. The venetian and Wynn have great rooms as well.
Personally, I love staying at Mandalay Bay. It has to be my favorite casino. Great food, rooms, service, pool (fucking awesome pool), and shopping if you are into that.

The small NLHE games at the Excalabur and Mandalay Bay are free money. The Tropicana is near both and has cheaper rooms if all you're looking for is a bed, shit, shower and shave.

Luxor has a smaller one, I think it is $50 buy in but you can immediately rebuy another 50 once you post a blind. But, the game pretty much sucks. There are two small blinds of $1 and a $2 big blind and it's a bunch of shorties.

I second the Excalibur recommendation(it is 1/3 BTW). Harah's was also very beatable.
