Howdy,

Will be heading to Atlantic City next week for an overnighter with the family.

I am staying at the Trop and I heard that they are now offering S & G Tourneys.

If true anybody every play them and how diff/simular than online S&Gs.

How steep are the buy ins??

I've played SNG at Taj but not at Trop.

The Taj structure is absolute CRAP. I can only assume the Trop is similar.

Basically they play 9-10 handed, top 2 pay. You start with like 1K chips and blinds are 25/50. Blinds increase every 10 mins. Usually the tourny is over in an hour.

The way the B&M SNG's are set up is pure gambling and basically no poker since you have neither the time nor the chips to actually play poker but rather it is an AI festival.
Sit down in the ring or go play craps or BJ. It will be $$$ better spent than in SNG's.
Send lawyers, guns and money - the sh*t has hit the fan!

lemme piggyback on stevo.... yes most BM SNGs are all in gamboolfests after the first 30 mins or so, but you might wanna check out the Showboat, they have the best structure and the only BM SnGs i've seen to consistently run over hour, allowing ample time to get 50 ish hands in on avg??? ... i think most of the SnGs at the taj or wildwildwest last about 30-40 hands or so on avg

yeah, but if ur goin to BM in AC for the first time i would highly recommend the showboat for there MTT and SnG's
