Default B&M Poker Tournament buy-in and ettiquette question

What does it mean when a casino poker room tournament says:

    Buy In: $35 + $10 + $5
    $5 Add on: 2000

    ?

I know $35 goes to the prize pool, $10 to the house but what is the last $5 for? I had always thought that the optional add-on for more chips went to the dealers and staff? If it helps, this is a daily noon tournament and I know it isn't a bounty tournament. I'm guessing it's for the dealers/staff. Which brings me to my 2nd question:

If that last $5 goes to the dealers/staff, would that change how much you would tip? Total prize pool tends to be in the ~$1,600 range and 1st place takes ~$650. And who is expected to tip-- all who end up ITM or just 1st place?

you should ask, but probably it is for the dealers/staff.

With that structure I would feel fine not tipping at all, maybe $20 if you make the top 3.

Yeah that $5 extra chip bonus is most likely for the staff. I would not tip at all with that structure. You're already tipping $5 per $35 of prize pool (14%).
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

It could mean a bounty too. But it most probably for the deal add-on and will go directly to the dealers.

By way of followup, the last $5 is indeed for the dealers/staff. On top of that you can also give another $5 for a 2000 chip add-on.
