If you are anything like me, you probably join a poker game for an hour or two, before you decide that it is just time to move on for the night. For how long do you usually play poker in an average night, and what usually makes you stop when you do?

5-7 hours each session. I will definitely stay longer if a few donators , drunks and blackjack gamblers join the party Hmmm, i'd probably leave the table when i run like dogshit for hours, go on tilt or drop around 3 buyins.

6 hours for live... longer if the games are good. If I left after just one or two hours I would feel like I've wasted all that time getting reads on people and establishing an image. Even against bad players I think my edge is pretty modest for the first hour... once I know who can be bluffed, and who will limp/fold or fold to 3-bets, or give up to continuation bets easily, or give up their continuation bets when faced with resistance etc... I can make a lot more.
I will take breaks, but I'll make sure I keep my seat reserved, or I'll wait to join the same table again.
