I am heading to the Borgata Saturday morning with a friend, we are going to play mostly cash games all weekend. Has anyone tried to get the poker rate for a room there without setting it up in advance? Neither of us have a "players card" yet.
Are the poker rate rooms usually all gone in advance?
Any advice on the games there would be nice also. Probably play 1-2/2-5 NL or up to 10/20 limit.
Thanks

Instead of creating a new thread, figured I'd just highjack this old one.
I'm probably hitting up AC this week. Any FTRers interested in shooting down (or up, depending on where you live).

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

you absolutely need a players card to book a room at the poker rate. i play at the taj and the weekend poker room rates there are gone at least 6 weeks in advance. i'm sure borgata is worse. but try playing on a sunday, it's much easier to get a poker room rate.
