I've been playing the local room at the kennel club for a couple months now. In the past I've pretty much only played their multi's but I'm looking to get in on some cash games.

The only NL games they offer are $1/$2 with a set min/max buy-in of $60 and $2/$3 with a $100 buy-in. Tables are 10 handed and the action is pretty loose. I sat down at the $1/$2 table for the first time on Thursday and took home $380 in total. The table was very chatty and most all the players seemed to be very loose and passive. Several would bitch about my $12 raises, but almost all were to eager to call them. Seemed like the only way to get a 3 or 4 way pot was to raise at least 6bb.

Anyway, what the hell should I be doing here? I've basically been playing supertight, making fairly large preflop raises and committing myself or shoving all in on a good flop until I'm about 100bb deep. I've browsed this site a few times in the past and found it to be useful, just wondering if you guys have any input.

Thanks

What's the rake?

In these shallow stack games, you pretty much need to stick to big cards and set-up very favorable spots to go with one pair.
