Hello.
I have a 500 chip set which is of the following:

$1 - 100
$5 - 100
$25 - 100
$100 - 100
$500 - 50
$1000 - 50

What i am wanting to know is.
If i have a 4-8 player poker game.

What is the best tournament structure for me to follow.
Should i start at 25/50 or should i incorporate the $5 chips

I am wanting the tournament to be about 1 hour - 2 hours long.
With maybe 1 - 2 breaks in between.

What do you think ?

Give each player 2 or 3K chips to start (40 or 60 BB)

Blind Schedule - 20-30 minute rounds

25/50
50/100
100/200
200/400
400/800 (will absolutely finish it off)

Your time requirement limits the quality of the game you are hosting, but if this a fun $5 or $10 buy-in drinking party then the above schedule will work for you.

$5 chips are unecessary because there really isn't any time to make it worth using them anyway.
