Game is 2-5 in poker club. Villain is young guy in suit. Might be decent, I think he's kinda aggro.

I get in the BB. 3 limpers including villain who is button.

Flop comes

Checks to button who bets $15 into $22. I think he always bets when checked to here so I call. One other limper call who doesn't fold much.

Turn is . I check with intention of c/r the button who I think is gonna bet again. It checks around.

River is I lead for $30. First limper fold. Villain thinks and makes it $130. WTF.

My first instinct is he has A7 or is trying to blow me off one ace with a weaker hand. It feels like it should be a fold but bet size feels like he wants me to fold.

So I guess his range is random bluff, pairs turned into bluffs.

Hands that beat me: like A7, 77, 68 badly played 99, A9, 55 (very unlikely)

Hands that he is value betting that are worse: K7, K9, K5, 97, 95 AQ/J (unlikely).

So, it feels like a fold but I don't want to fold. Thoughts?

Weird line, I fold, but the WTF factor is so high that I don't mind looking this up and used to snap call here a lot when I moved most of my action to live games.

i like a call here. I think you beat most of his range. It mostly depends on reads, and what i think of the player. If he is an agro, i definitely call.

your river bet looks really stabby, thus the raise from him. i dont think he shows up with a better hand very much

Can't recall ever being good here against a guy that wasn't batshit insane or otherwise known to me.

limped pot is too unreadable. This river raise is hardly a bluff unless the guy is drunk and crazy aggressive. I fold and move on to next hand in this small pot.
