3 way Effective stack is about $180. 5 limpers, hero completed in sb with .
flop($14): hero bet $10,UTG2 limper called, MP limper raised to $30, all folds to hero?? These two guys just sat down at my table, so i didnt have specific reads on them. Hmmm, i saw UTG2 guy drink a few beers but nothing out of the line.MP wore a Royal Flush base ball cap and seemed pretty quiet.

hero called,UTG2 called
turn: hero bet $50, UTG 2 insta shoved,MP gave an annoying look and finally called off his stack, so hero should pay off alright? Do you guys complete sb with K8s preflop in 5 way limped pot?

nice situation.... I'm torn... when making a flush like this in first position... are you better to donk bet (take someone else's initiative and lead out) like that or to check it? both have downsides I guess.... don't want to let guys get off hands and also not betting may mean check check which is obviously not ideal... fnord?

I bet that any day of the week, but that is because of how I play, but then again I am 3 betting that flop to $80+ knowing i am getting called or shoved . When we make the flush on the turn when our opponet flat calls, we can then bet the scare card and get paid off with a made hand.

The way I read that flop is you are either fucked by someone who is chasing a nut flush draw or you are felting a shit player/s. Are we getting away from this hand?

The way you played preflop is fine. Completing the SB in such a multiway pot is fine when you are playing for flush value OOP. Your odds are there and so are your implied odds and i dont see anything wrong with it. You called for flush value and you hit it, what more do you want?

Easy bet, particularly in a live game against timid showdown-driven opponents. Against anyone aware, run the same line without the flush every now and then. That gets a lot of folds at $5/$10.

Not down here Fnord... But then again I don't play $5/$10 (I play $2/$5). A lot of the players down here are so showdown driven its not funny and they also think they are John Wayne and so while I am forever advocating agression and valuebetting because if you do it enough the elastic band will break and these players come over the top putting you on air
