NYC club game kinda broke and it became 5 handed for the time being.
It folds to me and I call $5 straddle with OTB. One caller and straddler checks his option.
Flop comes and checks to me. I bet $15.
Limper folds and straddler makes it $25 more pretty quickly. Starting stacks are like me with $480 and him with $360.
He got stacked kinda recently and lefty and came back with more money. He hasn't done anything noticeably bad. I saw him lose one kinda big pot with trips bad kicker to trips better kicker and he was doing the betting against a pretty passive player but he prob didn't know the guy was tight/passive.
What do I do next?

if u think he has trips, fold but i wouldnt be to sure, i mean he re-raised u prolly with a Queen, or a flush draw to try to desconcertate. i bet that he had the Queen and tried to get u out,cuz of the flush chance.

if u cannot spot the sucker on the first half hour at the table, you are the sucker.

If he has a Queen it's a "see where I'm at" raise (doubling to take control of the pot from a possible draw) and he'll probably dump it if we re-raise. His line doesn't look much like a flush draw either.
Looks like you ran into a hand and I don't like bottom two against a passive monster range.
If we continue here it's a clear call hoping he's getting frisky with a Queen or some kind of strange bluff.

This guys is not passive. I make it $100 more (too big I know, I didn't realize how much he had behind and I was too tired to be playing). He thinks for about a minute and goes all-in for $190 more. I can't fold right? Wish I raised smaller.

Re-raising to fold to a shove sounds pretty terrible.

I think folding to a min reraise with two pair on flop 5 handed at 1/2 is a mistake (at least in the game i used to play). seen people do this many times with a Q to 'see where they are at' or a flush draw to build a big pot. idk i'd probably try and see a cheap showdown.

I re-raise all in on his bet with two pair; if he has the set or top two tip your hat. Only way I raise/fold is if I'm holding just TPGK (in ur case you have better).
Esp 6 handed.....
