I've taken a loooong break from poker, and it just happened to be that I was bored, itching to play and happened to have some money that I could set aside to play an occasional game in the casino... Found a nice 1/1 Eur NL (100 eur max buy) game here in Berlin, typical casino players, a mix of loose passives, maniacs who are just having fun splashing chips around, one or two nits, *maybe* one guy who has sort of an idea what he's doing.

This is already 2 hours or so into the session, I've just been playing pretty straight ABC TAGG-type play, and once or twice I've had the vague feeling Villain seated 4 seats to my left is calling my PF raises in order to try to take the pot from me post-flop (the one guy who seemed at least aware of what's going on at the table). Till now though he hadn't made any moves at me.

Here's the hand:

The live straddle is on (2 euro to limp)
I'm in MP with JJ
1 limper before me, I raise to 8
Villain in SB calls.
Limper calls.

Flop: 5 5 2 rainbow.

Checked around to me, I bet 20.
Villain calls, limper folds.

Turn: Q

Villain quickly leads with 35. Villain has about 50 eur behind, I have him covered. I have the gut feeling he's making a play at me, but at the same time I'm not happy about the possibility of being faced with another big bet on the river.

What do you think?

I can go either way here. If you move all-in he might fold a Queen.

I folded.

I had a good session, and as I was cashing out he came up to me to say "hey well played... by the way that hand between us I had 77, I thought you might fold a medium pair..."

Oh well. Info for the future!
