Hello people of the internet,

it´s been a while since I´ve played some cards, please give your opinion on the following hand:

€25 R+A in some shady backyard, blinds are 1k/2k with 15 min levels, most people just bought their add-on

On a full ring hero is BB with T T and second in chips with 18k

UTG has hero covered and limps, MP shoves for 5.5k, everyone else folds.

I just got moved to this table and it´s my first hand with UTG. I can´t really see how I could call here oop and think a fold is sexy. Would love just calling calling shorty off, but who figures to have enough FE vs. UTG to make a shove a good idea? Give input, pls.

Considering you are second in chips with 9 BBs this doesn't seem like the tourney structure where we can actually "wait for better spots."

I shove for value here - our TT is well ahead of both the limper and shover's ranges.

KoRnholio will become famous soon enough
edit: misread the action

I shove here, UTG could be limping a monster but I'd be glad to fold out his broadway hands.
Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.

All we know for sure is UTG is a tard. He will have monsters but he'll also call off with 99-/Ax/KQ type hands sometimes.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

Isn't limp trapping UTG standard in tourneys, and we should consider it a great majority of time when unknown is doing it?

i am not a tourney player and don't know anything of ICM etc, but based purely on how much equity i expect to have in the pot, i'd stick it in.
