Fnord says he check-raises the flop when blind-defending in limit. Here it looks like a good play.

I'd vote for lead out on the flop, folding to a raise. Clearly on the turn you're looking to get your money in.

Pre flop the call is OK, depends on reads. You've got enough chips you can gamble some here. Folding OK too.

Unless I have a read that the guy is a blind stealer, i give him credit for a hand and fold preflop. No need to get invoved out of position. Given you called it, I check raise his ass on the flop.

good hand, I think check call the flop then decide what to do on the turn is ideal. Here, you two paired it, so i'm arr in
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately

If it's only a 50 buyin, why is it in here?

Yeah, I was leaning towards folding preflop, until I noticed it was suited, which does make a pretty big difference with a hand like QJ, at least in terms of post flop playability. Depending on the table dynamic, I may have folded it preflop, but if I called, I probably would've played it exactly like you did.

I'm guessing he either bad beat you on the river or he whined about the hand for hours, calling you a fish, for sucking out on him on the turn. Either way, its a well played hand.

If $109 and $215 SnGs are in here, shouldn't $50 MTTs be as well?

He's been quietly slaughtering SnGs up to the $500 level. All on a $50 stake I gave him last summer. GG.
