I'd pay this one off, but I think you're right. Flop is a call-me raise, turn check is silly enough to be a boat, river is a make-up bet.

Lukie is on a distinguished road
I don't think calling or folding here is a big mistake.. but I think showing when you fold is. Why give out that kind of info?

I read the guy very strongly for a boat, and silly plays like the minraise on the flop with a set and then check when it completes were very much the norm on this rather tight and SUPER PASSIVE table.

I showed to hopefully enduce players to start trying to bluff me big. The blind structure on UB is so nice that I'd have hours before I'd have to gamble much at all. I'd also clearly typically call in places like this without a strong read, so them trying future pot bets on the river with nothing would be very +EV ... for me.

With deep stacks and small blinds (similar to NL cash games), I want all the action I can get. With small stacks compared to blinds I prefer to not get much action at all, as I'll be forced to play hands that aren't very strong for my stack.
