It was fun while it lasted, but the players were just too good and I stopped after falling below a 12k bankroll. I will join 'rilla and bmixicle at 2/4 until my BR hits 18k.
I can say this, the players get WAY better at 600 NL compared to 400 NL, just a fair warning to the rest of you guys.. I'm looking forward to not having people play back at me when I steal the blinds lol
At least I learned a lot while I was there, and I'm sure I'll learn a lot more next time. Just gotta keep paying the learning tax until I improve..
What ended up busting me was actually a bad beat - I called someone's all in with KK pre-flop and lost to QQ that hit a Q on the flop, for a loss of 720$

Yep, happened to me too. I'm not playing that game again until i have a full 30 buyin bankroll of 18k. Also i might suggest that you try stars 3/6 when you move back up, cause it seems to be a little softer than the party poker sharkfest.

Well on the bright side, all the sharks left 2/4 for 3/6 and a bunch of fish replaced them, so 2/4 at party has gotten a lot softer recently. At least I wont have a hard time making back the money I lost lol

yeah 2/4 is still pretty soft, and i've heard that 5/10 is acutally easier than 3/6.

is it me or has the 3/6 gotten rediculously tighter over the past week at party?? even the blinds are folding now to a raise, just seems really weird to me

I'm not worried about tight, conservative players (i.e. fazoolfish, BigFatElvis). They are easy to push around and bluff, and you can always steal the blinds
Its the well-timed aggression that either bluffs you out or causes you to lose your stack that I'm worried about lol.

If you want ridiculously easy money, sit down at a $200max (1/2) table on partypoker. Once you get into a groove the money just falls into your lap... Good way to build for higher stakes.

Ridiculously tight is fine, but its those damn check min-raises that players use every second hand. I've been dabbling in stars 600nl lately again and you don't get that nearly as much there
