Playing 10/20 9-handed online I get dealt in MP. I open-raise to $80, fish on my left calls, regular on the button calls, blinds fold.
Flop comes . blacksnatch is feeling good right now. I bet $170 into a $270 pot. Fish calls, button folds.
Turn comes a . This is a pretty good card for me, and I bet $400 into a $610 pot. Villain calls.
River comes a . I think for a while and bet $600 into a $1410 pot. Fish has about $1200 left. Thoughts? Is blacksnatch being a pussy with his value bets?

You should push and hope this goes without showdown because if people see your :Ad: you'll be in trouble.

Looks better now yeah

Well at my stakes, 400NL, I'd bet more on this river, but I don't know what the 10/20 fish are like. Seems he has something he likes with the call on turn and he probably still likes it on the river

I think the problem with this is that villain will either see this as an obvious value bet, or a blocking bet.

I think betting a little more may work here

I guess what it comes down to is, should I go ahead and assume he has AQ and bet accordingly, or should I bet so that I get a wider range to call? I think I know the answer, but I'll ask it anyways.

Lukie is on a distinguished road
Any stats on villain here? If he's like 30+ VPIP he could very very very easily have something like AJ/AT here and I think that really affects your thinking on the river, as you've already talked about.

Flop: Bet $200 into $270 pot. Fish calls, button folds.

Turn: Bet $465 into $670 pot.

River: Bet last $1100 into $1600 pot.

I like my pot management much better.

Yea I think I like your line better too, trying to extract the maximum is probably a good idea here. However I don't think anything but AQ will pay me off if I went with the line you suggested; as bad as this guy was he won't call the AI on the river with AJ/AT, maybe not even the turn. I knew he played loose preflop and I played my hand weakly because I thought there was a good chance he just had a weak ace and wanted to string him along.
