I don't have much history with him, but i know he plays pretty loose and raises a lot in position. I've seen him c/f a couple of flops out of position against me. In the hands i have played against him, 3 or 4, i have basically won all of them with flop bets.

I have played with him in the past and he probably would view me as kinda nitty if anything.

First hand seems very std.

Second hand I think is a good spot for thin value on the river, since it's such a common bluff line. After he calls the turn he will usually call the river as well. This is a bet 100% with a bad image, but if he views you as a nit, then it's pretty marginal (so nothing wrong with the way you played it). Good spot to merge also, and a big bet is better than a small bet.

Another move to consider is making a small bet to get him to turn his JT type hand into a bluff. Something like b/c $180 should do the trick.

Both seemed fine. I might have bet the river in the second hand though.
