I'm a bit underrolled but thought I'd take 600 bucks and try to make a learning experience out of it (I'm a regular Lagger on 200 and 400 nl 6max on Party). I ended up getting up to 3k before losing a few big hands to drop back down to 1.9k. Was a lot of fun, and damn stressfull. I still get a bit shocked when I throw out a 500$ river-bluff with Q high. I'll have to get over the monetary aspect of it if I want to be successfull on a consistent basis. Anyway, here's a couple hands.

I'm running 34/19 on this table and I can tell the table is getting mad at me, especially this guy. This is definitely a case of 'WTF does that min-raise mean' . My read on him is that he's a loose cannon, but not a good player by any means (I'm basing some of this on some redonkulous comments he''s made in the chat).

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

BB ($299.50)
Hero ($2188.92)
MP ($909.85)
CO ($599.05)
Button ($546)
SB ($445)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with K, J. SB posts a blind of $3.
Hero raises to $22, 4 folds, BB calls $16.

Flop: ($47) 3, 5, J (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $35, BB raises to $70, Hero calls $35.

Turn: ($187) 4 (2 players)
BB bets $125, Hero?

In retrospect I think I played this next hand far too weak by not 3/4 to full potting it on every street. But I really put myself on the stone cold nuts and am hoping that villain picks up top two on the turn or river so that I can get his stack. In the back of my mind I think he could have bottom set which he might play the same on such a dry board. Villain seemed ok but he hadn't been at the table for long, so basically an unknown.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($2394.39)
MP ($795.07)
Button ($913)
SB ($577.47)
BB ($600)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with 9, 9. SB posts a blind of $3.
Hero raises to $22, MP calls $22, 1 fold, SB (poster) calls $19, 1 fold.

Flop: ($72) A, 5, 9 (3 players)
SB bets $6, Hero raises to $45, MP calls $45, SB folds.

Turn: ($168) 2 (2 players)
Hero bets $120, MP calls $120.

River: ($408) K (2 players)
Hero bets $250, MP calls $608.07 (All-In), Hero calls $358.07.

Final Pot: $1624.14

This is a pretty boring hand...but what do you vets put him on here? I'm curious if my read was solid there in most cases.

Any comments/criticisms are welcome.

First hand. Fold, AJ/QQ+/set probably. He commits himself but seems to want a call..

Second hand. Your river bet seems a bit to small. AK no g00t 55 is possible too of course.

FIrst hand : I'm raising KJs UTG in 6 max all day long. As much for metagame as for value. I realize the pitfalls this hand can get me in, but I'm pretty sure it's not a bad play for me. Position is a different beast in 6Max and I'll often have position on the blinds who flat call my UTG raise instead of re-raising me like they should. If I put this guy on AJ I would've folded to even his minraise, but I don't think that's what he had. I think he had a medium pair and was doing a 'That flop didn't hit you' or a 'I'm sick of your lag gay shit'. I think this was a case of a lagg having a tough decision of when your opponenent is just playing back at you because of the number of hands you play instead of playing back at you with a better hand.

Well, that's your read - go with it. All we can say is that his betting pattern indicates he is willing to play a big pot here. If he has AJ or a set you are not going to push him off his hand (especially if he is 'sick of you lag gay shit'). You are either good here (vs. 77-TT/JT/QJ), or drawing very thin or dead.

I think villian has to terrible or tilting bad to commit himself piecemeal on 2nd pair or TPNK here. If he has some kinda junky two pair he is playing very risky as well.

I luckily stuck to my read and pushed over the top for his remaining stack and he insta-folded. But that's definitely a dangerous pot but sometimes you have to go with instincts rather than looking at your meak top-pair k kicker. My buddy was watching the hand and couldn't believe I only had KJ there. But I'm thinking villain definitely layed down the worse hand, as you said...he's not folded AJ to me with my image or two pair.

Up against a runner-runner flush with an ace suited in hearts in the second hand? If so that's just bad luck and you pretty much have to call since he could easily have AK for the rivered two-pair.

I f I count correctly in the first hand, Villain needs to call 80 in a 600 pot. 66-TT must be very sure to fold.. Villain probably didn't even had a pair.
