Villain was 29/5 after 21 hands and I had just sat in at this table. How should I have played this hand instead?

You need a more solid read to really get an idea what he's up to here, but id say he likes to slowplay. It would help to know his aggression factor, especially by street. I think this is good as played given what you knew.
