18/14/2.4 fold to cbet: 43% call open 11% 3bet: 4.5 Earlier in the session I bluff raised his cbet on a K85r board and he 3bet me small and folded to a shove. Not really pertinent to this hand but it gives an idea of his understanding.

I think you have to bet here, because the A and 4th diamond are big scare cards. What happens if you check and hes bets? Are you just going to fold? The your OOP and praying for an A or 6 on the river.
I think the above is a pretty solid line, however i wud have opted for slightly more, maybe $180-$190. If he folds great, if he raises get out, if he calls check fold the river.

and i say that because most players like this would have to take a little time before calling a KdQ or something like that

And what range would you give him if he called the flop relatively quickly?

this type of spot strikes me as being one where c/r is better than betting since it's a good spot for villain to bet or raise

yea i dont think this is a bad one at all but im not convinced i fire river vs this guy: do we expect him to fold the Td... i sure dont
also the fact we have 4 nut concealed outs is important as hes very unlikely to raise the Kd on turn

I think were not going to see a lot of diamonds from him period are we? unless he has JJ-77 with a diamond, or maybe KdQ?
