I wouldn't have given him a free card on turn. That min-raise on flop indicates to me that he is on a draw and wants to get to river cheap. But it turns out good, the way I would have wanted it to be.. Nice play again man!

The min raise on the flop narrows his hands down to a draw or a dry jack. Two pair and a set are small possibilities, but that is not exactly the scariest board ever so I doubt he'd play a set that fast on the turn. For him to have two pair he would have had to call your preflop raise with J8 J5 J 2...etc. All of these two pair are very unlikely unless hes just very very loose preflop. This makes me think that hes either on a straight draw (10 9 or 6 7) and making a strong semi bluff at a decent pot or he puts you on a draw and he's trying to take the pot down with J10 etc. Any of the hands he's most likely on you are dominating and if he has the set then he is gonna win a big pot but i think folding here is just too weak in the long run with that board.

One of my favorite lines. The continuation bet followed by just calling makes it look like you missed, the check on the turn that says "I have AK, buddy...go easy" and he falls for it hook line and sinker. Looks like a smallish pocket pair that missed its set.

dam those are some high blinds u must have a huge bank roll. Anyways.. i like your play here, usually a min raise like that at the lower stakes means a monster or in this case probably a set but at these stakes i have no clue what to think about that. Maybe he has A J and felt like trying to hit a flop and doesnt put you on a over pair.

Yeah, its standard. Obviously the hand to be worried about is a set, but he doesn't have enough to push you off your hand, and there really isn't enough here to get a strong read that you're beat.

I feel like you have him beat only about 50% of the time here, but the pot odds are much better than that, making it a standard / automatic call.

I LOVE the flop play, and yes that's an easy call. You're way way ahead here.

*edit*
Also, I'll put him on QJ-AJ, nothing else.

I think he has pocket 8s and you lost the hand..... unless the river's an ace... (although it's an obvious call anyway - just sucks if it's a set...)
