I was really sure that _________ or dirtyjoe would raise so my call on the flop isnt a problem really. I am just thinking that should I raise to get a possible 3-bet from the later guys (3-bets had been quite rare at this table) or should I just go for a CR, and if so, is AI the best solution. I think that we can safely rule out just calling on the flop. What would your line here be?

If you know there's going to be a raise behind you, then I like the smoothcall, as it conceals your hand and also puts you in a position where you can react to the people behind you. Also, I would have reraised to around 400 or so instead of going AI, for the reasons johnny_fish stated.

sometimes i think pushing is more likely to make them make a mistake with AA or KK than making a scary raise
