Solid player, paired board, flush hits and he bets big.......I'm not laying it down but I don't think I'm raising here either.
Call.
EDIT: Actually I can't find a boat here, chances are slim he has 88. Only thing we're scared of is a higher flush. This is one of those "better hands will call/push over your raise, and weaker hands will fold..."
So I still say call.

Yeah I think push is good. The board makes a boat unlikely and our hand is pretty well concealed so there is value to be had.

Do you have any read on his UTG play? What's his VP$P/PFR in general?
AA/KK seems very likely (99-QQ would bet the turn right?), and won't call your push often (depends on your image).
If it's close it's probably better to push since you're not showing down then.

Much of this hand depends on his calling range to a push, which depends on how he percieves you. If AJ, QQ+ will call a push here then I would move all in. If he is the kind of player who tends to make heroic call downs this is also a good spot to push. Since it was a backdoor flush and you only have 100bbs I think a push maximizes value from the hand.

In all seriousness though, 88, 55, 22, jj all are possibilities here, along with akd, aqd, and all those higher flush hands. Over pairs qq-aa will also take this line, and may donk off to you on the river as it is a very curious line for any hand (except a runner runner flush which is unlikely) that isn't a bluff to take. However, i think qq-aa are the only hands you beat that will ever call you, and even then they may all fold. So my initial reaction to ug's post was "standard weak tight george " but now that i have thought the hand through i completely agree with him. You obviously need to call here as he will bet a very large range here, but i don't see him calling your push with much.

yea thats exactly what i was thinking. i pushed and right after i did i was thinking 'god dammit stupid push' but he folded after a few seconds. i think i was lucky that he didn't have a hand like he will whenever he calls me and i go broke.

Now i may like this as a bluff (depending on alot of factors) but not with a hand that has showdown value.

Given your image Gabe I think the push isn't bad at all, many hands you beat will call.

Just call against a solid reg. but against someone weak or with some other read then a push is good with your sneaky hand.
I've used villains line with flopped boats in the past. He also could have backed into an ace high flush.
