Villain is a complete rando as I just sat down, don't recognize him and PAHUD stats haven't yet loaded. I do know however that limping UTG does not usually correlate strongly to good play
5 handed 5/10 FTP $1,050 stacks
Dealt to Hero
villain call $10, 1 fold, Hero raise $45, 2 folds, vilain call $35
Flop
Villain check, Hero check
Turn
Villain check, Hero bet $85, villain raise $270, Hero shove $1,005
Thoughts??
My default is obviously to bet the flop but in this situation the board seemed to very much mesh with his limp/calling range and sometimes its enjoyable to be deceptive with double gutshots
I'm mostly interested in input about how to react to a rando donk who checks twice then raises us on a relatively scary board. Do I have any FE?

yea- flop check is a bit dubious but w/e
when a donk raises more than 3x your bet on the turn its a monster like 85% of the time. on this board he can also have a ton of 2pair combos which hes not folding cause well, hes a donk. I think calling here is muuch better than semibluffing. id say he folds about 20% of the time here.

After thinking about the hand my thoughts were just about the same as what has been posted, i think bet /3-betting the flop is much better.... I often get lost in the moment and find myself shoving when in doubt
But I think the results are the truly interesting part of this hand: donk timebanked and eventually called with AT ?!?!?!
Should I be taking this line for thin value with AK in the future?
FWIW i hit my 4 outer

He has a near-nut hand (in his mind) most of the time, plus many non-nut hands that he won't fold anyways.
