I may not have quite all the info correct, but it's as best as I could get a 2am...question on technicality of a game where a jackpot win was disqualified. Not sure where to ask so, here I am. Texas holdem, flop was 3 A's, J and a 2. player A - dealt 2 k's player b- A & J (jackpot hand)
B had 4A's with jack quicker, but house disallowed jack kicker in 4 jA's. Does this sound like a made up thing so they didn't have to pay the jackpot? Anyone got any ideas on where a ruling could be obtained? Thanks.

For most bad beat jackpots, both hole cards have to be used.

It looks like there should have been a jackpot awarded. AAAAJ (using AJ + AAA on the board) against AAAKK. If the board read AAAQ2 instead, then the player's jack in the hole wouldn't play.

Some days it feels like I've been standing forever, waiting for the bank teller to return so I can cash in all these Sklansky Bucks.
