I reported him to Party for abusing the disconnection protection, and now I just heard from them they are taking away this feature from him, wich is good, he had used this feature for the same purpose before. He is tight weak, a hand before he was just calling down when flopping a flush and me betting into him, turning my FH and beating him. This is probably a part of his weak cheating strategy, so put some pressure on him guys! He probably doesn't know what to do now that he can't disconnect Think it's good Party are taking actions against players cheating like this, good job Party, and I don't like cheaters so hope he'll go on a loosing streak now!

let me understand this ... if he would have had the better hand, he would have won? So what he is doing is getting into a pot ... then for whatever reason, he pulls the disconnection routine allowing him to stay in the hand but with no more bets?

Yes, that's right, here be is probably thinking I might be bluffing, but he don't want to pay to find out, so he disconnects to get a free showdown. This could be abused in several ways, it could let him draw for free etc., so it is clearly cheating and I'm happy Party did something about it. I haven't seen the guy since, too bad.

I wish that sites would take a bigger stand against this, because IMO it is by far a worse form of cheating than what guys like ZeeJustin did. ZeeJustin only stole a small amount of EV from the rest of the players in the field, but the disconnect abusers steal a massive amount of EV every time they disconnect.

If a guy has a history of doing this, I think they should award you however much money he would have won if he'd made the wrong decision (and possibly close his account). In this case they should transfer you $145 from his account, and if you'd been bluffing they should give you the pot instead of him.

Not if the fishies I wanna play with are sitting on a DP table, but I've not had any problems with it since, and it's very easy to notice so I'll just report whoever does it to me.
