Im UTG, ready to leave, my last hand.
I'm dealt K Q and open limp. 2 players limp behind. Button raises to 20. Blinds fold, I call, 2 limpers call. 4 To the flop, pot is about 89 bucks.
Flop comes Q Q J
Your play? Comments on my limp-call?
One maniac behind you and button can be expected to follow through with a bet maybe 1/4th of the time on this flop with 4 ops.

I'd raise it up preflop.
Then I'd bet out pot sized on the flop, it's a nice flop, but so many draws available, you want to make them pay a substantial amount to see a card. If you're raised, you could expect a QX or a AJ/KJ, if called, you can expect someone to be on a draw, so be wary of any dangerous cards.
If you run into AQ, there's not much you can do, highly unlikely though.

I didn't want to raise preflop with KQs becuase it was my last hand and I really just wanted to take a break. Limp, see if I make a monster, fold otherwise. I am capable of raising with KQs here, but I just didn't.

I lead out on the flop for 88, limpers folded and button called. This was the action I dreamed for becuase I felt buttons call represented a drawing hand very infreuqently.
Button's pretty new to the table. I think it's actually his 3rd hand, or 13th. Something small.
Turn was 6
I lead out again 227 (comments?) and button went into the tank and pushed for about 500 more I had him covered. Am I commited?

Scary, now AQ/QJ/JJ is a big possibility. I think you're calling here though, kinda commited.

yr not committed, but youre certainly repping Qx the whole way through, and for him to call/raise ceratinly raises a question. at this point im about 75% sure he has me beat (without a read)...would he do the same with AJ? QT? his hand was certainly made on the flop as the turn is as blank as they come.
my gut says he has a monster (JJ, AQ).
ill probably fold.

i would lead out smaller on the flop to make it look like an obvious semibluff and hope for a raise, in which you can reraise even more if you think you have the best hand (which you should, right?)

I like it. Maybe even gone for a check-raise and ended it there.
I called feeling I was decimated and op had AA. I guess he thought i had A K

I'm sure he was confused by you betting it out and not looking to slowplay or check raise it at all. It is a pretty unorthodox play, but it worked out well.

I was going to inquire about this. After limping with this hand and hitting trips with good kicker on a coordinated two-flush board, this seems like a good way to get information. If he comes over the top of the check-raise, you know you're beaten and can lay it down.

After he raises, you kinda are pot committed. Personally, I don't think you played this like you normally would with trips. I think he put you AK or Ax hearts. His raise here was dumb if he had AA, though. If he thought you were full of it, he should have raised on the flop.

I haven't read the thread yet, but, in that situation, I would've bet hard, half my stack.
Two reasons why: a) I hate paired board sets. They just smell of a boat hitting if you let people get away with it, and b) because of the maniac...I know he'll call, and I'm kinda wanting to take the chance of someone not hitting the boat, and still making money off the crazy man...
My $0.02...

That was Robert Ludlum with the Bourne series. If you haven't read all 3, you should ... they all rock.

I would be betting about 75$ for the reason for a heart draw. I mean 89$ is a big pot I would be happy with that pot.
