he autocalls my flop raise.
a few orbits earlier, he raised my BB from SB and i raised to 3x his raise. he called. he checked. i cbet flop of Q92 and he folded.
i think he is drawing to a flush when he crs the turn allin or str flush draw. call or fold?

You can't rule out AQ or KQ here on this drawy board, and although it's probably better to threebet a set or two pair against most people, he still could have those hands here. So i think this is a pretty easy fold.

ur flop raise is very very bad against his range as is ur turn bet as is ur call preflop. ironically i think calling/folding to the turn shove is pretty marginal either way but i would likely call and feel unhappy about it. u made a lot of critical mistakes over the course of this hand on every street though. (im saying this/being critical cause i know ur improving/moving up fast).

preflop the correct play against this player is a 3bet unless he plays poorly postflop.

a call on the flop

check/bet turn if u call the flop and he checks to u is pretty opp/meta dependant

as played a check on the turn is very very clearly correct

(this could be false if u have very specific bet sizing/timing tells on ur opponent but they would have to be very precise to play this hand this strangely)

i disagree ISF i think it plays better in a raised pot however we are so far ahead of his range preflop and initiative is so valuable i think 3betting is a better play here

thanks for the advice sauce. i think a pf 3bet is a mistake. i 3bet him in this same situation a few hands earlier. if i raise i won't know where i'm at in the hand and i can see him 4bet bluffing with his entire range.

i raised on the flop because i felt his bet was weak. when he instacalls my flop raise i still think he is weak. i bet the turn as a sort of blocking bet and as a bet so that he would have to pay to draw out on me. he then crs the turn allin. i didn't think he had a better hand and called. i think this call was more of a tilt call.
if i was completely not tilting i would definitely fold the turn cr allin. i probably wouldn't have played it like this in the 1st place.

i agree with your line though. calling the flop and checking the rest of the hand down i think is better.

i'm very surprised that you say calling/folding the turn cr is about the same. do you really call allin cr?
without reads i'm guessing you definitely fold.

also, ISF, how does A9s play better in a 3bet pot? could you expand on your statement. don't i get into trouble when i flop an A? or TPTK?
