This is semi-deep so I thought it'd be ok to post this hand in HSNL.
I also tried formatting it but it didn't work in FTR HH convertor

Villain in this hand got his roll from live tourneys (he final tabled a big WSOP event this year so he is definitely not scared money) and is lagg running around 29/21/4.5 with 11% 3-bet and also squeezes a lot. In this session we had battled quite a bit PF and I won a flip but I also folded lots as well as peeling a couple flops and folding to his c-bet so he might view me as weak/passive because my feel is he doesn't use a HUD.

I really don't like my bet-sizing on any streets except maybe turn. On the river I tanked pretty long before betting as I was considering both checking behind (wtf i know) and confused how much to bet. He literally INSTAshoved over my bet; as in he was AI before I even thought it was possible for him to click the button.

I insta-throw up then just attribute it all to variance
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

I fold here. Maybe if we had a lower set, QT could be somewhat possible here. But there are pretty much no two pairs doing this here for value.

OESD got there on the turn, and now runner flush got there on river. So there's quite a few hands we're behind now, and we beat no value shoving hand.

Do you think villain is capable of doing this as a bluff?

Anyway i had a similar hand like this at 1/2 where villain floated flop, turned a SD and FD, rivered his SD and shoved over my trips. (spite call on tilt)

Looks like he can have a hand like 8s9s here?

The only way this bluff from him would be good is if he knew you were folding a set.

I think I'm only worried about a flush since this villain is almost always going to get more money in on the turn with a straight.

Agreed but I'm not sure villain is good at choosing his 'bluffs'. Hmm...this hand tilts me thinking about it.

Agreed.

Not sure what he would be turning into a bluff or overrepping here.. 89? Two pair? I dont think so.
Nine to five is how to survive - I ain't trying to survive / I'm trying to live it to the limit and love it a lot //

Can offer RB deals on most sites, PM me.
