6 max full tilt mtt on saturday. sorry about the conversion.

This hand occurred with 8 players left. 2 from the final table. the villain was the chip leader, but took a hit a couple mins earlier and lost half his stack. i felt his pre flop raise was less than convincing and decided to see a flop in position and take it from there..........

Dude you're going to get much better responses in the MTT forum, so i dont get why you want to post this here. Unless your facing some really good MTT player and your 100bb deep or something your much better off posting there. I know it says you can post it here but most people who frequent this forum are cash game players.

This forum should really be cash only.

This IS the 'correct' place. I'm just saying we should change it. Nobody is getting good advice for tournies from this forum.

I'm sure nobody will object if you still post in the mtt forum. As ISF said, you will get the best comments from there.

As I said, what you did is fine. Just there's no doubt you're going to get better responses from the MTT forum. I'd only post here if stacks are deep and your facing some really good player.

K about the hand:

The problem i have with this is his range is clearly polar, and i'd way rather have a bluff catcher. Is he bluffing so much that our bluff is good? Maybe. I think our raise is super strong which is cool. His c/r is weird because it just doesn't seem like a board you'd want to do this on with any hand, which may mean he is a bluffer. He's repping a thin range anyways.

the fact that his c/r size is so big and that it doesn't make sense to do it on this dry board makes me the opponent is bluffing a good amount.
