i think you had him you were just betting so weak so he raised the hell out of you. im potting the turn then betting out pretty firm on the river. then if he raises you you know you should fold. he could have easily had you raped but i just dont think you bet enough to get any real information.

The thing was he overbet the pot in his raise, thats why I folded.. generally river overbets arent bluffs.. good thinking?

i mean its a safe fold because you dont really have that much invested...but still id like to be more sure that im not getting bluffed by betting bigger. think of what you would do if you were in your opponents shoes, youd probably raise the hell out of it too with anything cuz of the weak betting. i just think you should have bet the extra 15 or whatever so you can be sure you are beat.

I'm not a tourneyment player, and I cant beat anything higher than 20+2. I dont really devote much time to tourney play. Almost all of it goes to ring.

I'm curious as well. Your sig has a goal of 17k to play 3/6nl. You are currently at 15.3k and you are playing 5/10nl? That doesn't make sense to me. Is your sig outdated?

Its not outdated (at least not when you saw it, it wasnt)

3/6 nl 6 max, as opposed to 5/10 nl 10 max

6 max requires a much larger bankroll than 10 max does for equal stakes.

Also, in this case I was playing 5/10 nl full because there werent enough 3/6 nl full tables open on Party at the time. (I was playing 2 3/6 tables and 2 5/10 tables)
