Lol Fnord. What I say from Hachem at WSOP was good, at times awesome. Am not aware of millions of suckouts...

Btw I think against ilikeaces86 this is a clear fold. Not sure I could do it, but you are basically praying for KK no?

luck in tournaments is alot more than just suckouts.

also, if he had stats on aces, yes he should fold because aces is such a nit!

Yes Gabe I agree luck in tournaments is a lot more than suckouts. It's timing. But the fact that Hachem was unproven doesn't justify his being given the label luckbox.

From what I saw he played well. Kanter on the other hand...

LOL. True about the lack of content. What are we supposed to say? Dood should have folded KK? Aces pwns for having aces?
when the vpip's are high and the value bets are like razors, who can be safe?

No, he's completely pot struck after the 3rd raise. JH is getting about 3.25:1 on his money, almost good enough to call even if aces has aces every time.

Hachem has almost the exact equity he needs to call here even if aces range is exactly KK/AA here and nothing else.

l[Ja_Cks]l is a tourney player too. I lost to him heads-up in a $20/180-man SNG a couple of months ago. He was definitely the best player at that final table but I wouldn't have imagined he was good enough to be a winning player at 10/20 against H@££INGGOL, B Buddy, and gandi9.

exactly! with KK, and a 7mil $ bankroll, he makes this call instantly - Plus, he didn't just GO AI instantly, he made a substantial raise with a premium hand and then Called a re-raise when he was nearly commited -Come on now - Most players I see won't lay down KK - let alone a multimillionaire who's entire account balance could just be 1/10th of his pokerstars endorsement $$ - everyone talking about pot odds and what a lucky player he is....I call with KK everytime at $25NL and my BR is only $500....Put it this way - If you are playing $5 NL and have KK - Are you laying that down to a $5 AI Reraise? That's about the equivalent of what this probably means to hachem -

put down the hater-ade people -

don't be rippin on Raymer too much - I work at a Patent Law Office and one of our partners here was talking to me about poker the other day - He said he read several of Raymers printed articles and he was QUITE a Patent Attorney - Good player, good attorney -

I'd still leave that wife of his though if I was that rich - Even if it cost me 2.5 mil

I disagree. If ilikeaces86's range here is exactly KK/AA
then from Hachem's perspective,
ilikeaces is 6:1 to have AA not KK.
(Excluding Hachem's hole cards,
there are 6 pairs of aces, only 1 pair of kings).
So Hachem would need 6.5:0.5 = 13:1 to call here,
not close to the 3.25:1 he's getting.

don't really understand your math. Even if aces always has aces here, JH is still only a 4-1 underdog. Against AA/KK it's as Lukie said, according to pokerstove :

equity (%) win (%) tie (%)
Hand 1: 22.6177 % 15.59% 07.03% { KdKs }
Hand 2: 77.3823 % 70.35% 07.03% { KK+ }

My mistake!

Hachem would need about (6*0.8+1*0.5) : (6:0.2+1*0.5)=3.12:1 to call,
which he's getting.

Which agrees with Lukie.
