Is the maximum buyin less than 4k? It looks like almost everyone, including Hero, is shortstacked.
What's the difference between a large cheese pizza and a poker player?

A large cheese pizza can feed a family of four.

Well if you think he was check calling with a pair on the flop, it only leaves 1 other card in his hand that may be a ,

combine that with the fact he insta-pushes the river after showing weakness, makes this a ballsy, yet logical call. As someone once said, he either has the nuts or has dick here, nh sir.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
