Villain is Sekt1, i have little history with him i just know he's a reg. (note also that the table is 4-handed)

He also bet the river relatively quickly (i'd say about 2 second wait time) especially considering i called the turn pretty fast.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $10 BB (4 handed) Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($1156.10)
BB ($1083)
UTG ($1000)
Hero ($1876.50)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7, 7.
UTG raises to $30, Hero calls $30, 2 folds.

Flop: ($75) 4, 2, Q (2 players)
UTG bets $60, Hero calls $60.

Turn: ($195) K (2 players)
UTG bets $170, Hero calls $170.

River: ($535) 2 (2 players)
UTG bets $450, Hero calls $450.

Final Pot: $1435

easy standard.... ummm... fold?

I'd much prefer this if he was button and you were in the blinds, check/calling him down.

Given that he's UTG, I'm not sure I like this that much.

I'd also like this a lot more if the river was the third heart (him trying to bluff the heart) than the turn bringing the heart.

this is the easiest turn fold ever. think of your equity vs the equity of his range

Even if you had the seven of hearts, and even if you thought he was bluffing a gigantic amount (like you do now), the turn probably still is a fold.

Of course, when you call the turn, folding the river is retarded, but its almost not even worth mentioning.

On an awesome note, there's a new EV calculator called pokerrazor which you can download here:

http://www.pokerazor.com/software/download.xml

It is set up extremely well and has a great interface, you create extremely large ranges quickly so it's great for postflop.

Anyways, i did it for this hand giving Sekt1 a range of:

QQ+, 44, 22, AhQc, AhQs, AK, AhJh, AhJc, AhJd, AhTh, AhTc, AhTd, Ah9h, Ah9c, Ah9d, Ah8h, Ah8c, Ah8d, Ah7h, Ah7c, Ah7d, Ah6h, Ah6c, Ah6d, Ah5h, Ah5c, Ah5d, Ah4h, Ah4s, Ah3h, Ah3c, Ah3d, Ah2c, Ah2d, KQ, Jh9h, JT, Jh8h, Th9h, Th8h, Th7h, 9h8h, 9h7h, 8h7h, 8h6h, 7h6h, 7h5h, 6h5h, 5h4h

Cliffnotes: All reasonable pfr hands that made flushes, KQ, JT and all sets, AA, AK, all bare Ah.

According to this program my equity on the turn is 23.1%. Now i definitely could be adding worse weaker hands to his range and also take away some bare Ah. But yeah so it's pretty bad.

Old HU hand from last July. I still remembered this one when I saw your hand. I was up 1.5 BI and tried to tilt villain by limping the button. This is horrible, but I learned my lesson:

Table BB's HE, 16 Jul 2007 4:48 AM ET

Seat 8: HERO [ 4S,4D ] ($2,420.00 in chips)
Seat 10: BB ($1,199.00 in chips)
ANTES/BLINDS
HERO posts blind ($5), BB posts blind ($10).

PRE-FLOP
HERO calls $5, BB bets $35, HERO calls $35.

FLOP [board cards 10H,2C,2H ]
BB bets $80, HERO calls $80.

TURN [board cards 10H,2C,2H,8D ]
BB bets $180, HERO calls $180.

RIVER [board cards 10H,2C,2H,8D,3D ]
BB bets $650, HERO calls $650.

SHOWDOWN
BB shows [ QD,QH ]
HERO mucks cards [ 4S,4D ]
BB wins $1,909
