I had been playing this guy HU for a few minutes when this came up. This guy hadn't been folding much, and I was under the impression that he was being liberal with his chips because of the large stack he accumulated.
In other words, he was treating me like his bitch, throwing his big stack around and pounding at every opening.
So after reraising preflop, I flop a straight draw on a monotone board that has an ace. I decide to continue betting like I have a strong ace. Had I not reraised preflop, I would have checked this flop. Thoughts?
Keep in mind that if I'm willing to fire another barrel if I get called. Also, if a non-club six or jack drops to complete my draw, it will be very well concealed.

What's your play if the turn card is
- a club?
- a 9/T?
- a blank?
Pot 480, 630 left..

standard!
Oh wait, that's THREE clubs.... hmmm....
Three posibilites:
Villian has 2 clubs: Pray you don't hit a straight.
Obviously, folding here is best, but silly. Checking is not likely to give you much info, leading here is as good as any (see below), and if he checks behind and you hit a J or 6... yipe.
Villian has no club: This is interesting because he will probably not put any money in unless he has a big ace at worst. He should probably be cautious, unless he holds a set.
Leading here is almost certainly best, because he's likely to fold a better hand (<TP) with no club.
Villian has 1 club. He is probably calling down, even if he thinks you have AK. He might even raise as a semi-bluff. He will probalby bet the flop if checked to. If he has Kc or Qc he will even call a c/r a/i on the flop.
I think leading is fine. Probably fold to a big raise, since if you are both drawing, he is likely to have a higher card than a T or a pair.
If you are flat called, probably play a turned straight hard (even if it's a club), a non-straight club weak, and a blank or 9/T pretty hard.

Did I actually write that? Fuck. Must of had something else on my mind. No way we can call a push here since he's at worst on a flush draw and at least sitting there with an A.

I will explain my thought process a little bit. As I had said earlier, this guy was loosey goosey. Once the flop came I decided to lead out for a multitude of reasons. If he didn't hit I would take it down right there. If he has a weak club he should be strongly considering folding. If he has a weak ace he should call, unless he's a real nutcase. If he has a strong ace/77/88 he will raise me hard and I can easily fold.
He calls.
Turn comes a 5 of clubs. Now the board reads 8c-7c-Ac-5c.
I check, villain checks behind.
River comes a 4 of hearts. What's my move? $480 in the pot.

I really hate raising/reraising without truly strong hands when I don't have the button HU to avoid situations like this OOP. I think you either push or checkfold here on the river. Its likely he has a club I just wonder how big it is.

What do you think his turn check means? IMO it's more likely he's got an Ace than he's slowplaying a high club. The problem is that he will call 100% with a high club and 20-50% with a big Ace. So I guess it's an tough c/f.
