Post subject: High Stakes HU 10/20

I have recently been playing HU Cash matches to pretty good success. Someone challenged me to 10/20 today, so I took the offer. This hand I have is a very typical HU hand.
OP is very competent and is playing with my button raises. He is willing to play without strong hands, he is good. Sorry for the HH it's from ipoker network.

I really don't think he hit anything. If he would have paired on the flop or the turn, he'd have at least bet out to see if I was slowplaying. If he picked up a 3 I think he would have bet smaller and it just looks like he wants me to fold considering the action. The problem is that I only beat a small number of hands.
It's plays like this that build up a winning stack in HU play. Making the right plays here will spell a winning player or another buyin down the drain. What do you guys think, how often is my hand good?

You have 3 options:
1) suck it up princess and fold
2) call and see his cards
3) make a move and either a) win the hand or b) make him wonder what you were thinking
If he does fold here, he will likely become VERY cautious of you slowplaying, thus buying you more free looks at cards later on. If he calls or raises, such is life.

River raise is very cute. Better hope *he's* not trapping.
I assume at this point, pre-flop play means you have any 2 and he has anything except maybe terrible hands like 10-2.
We presume villian does not have any pair or he'd have bet by now. So, either he needs a K or QJ to beat you. I think call is better than raise on the off chance he's really slowplaying something ridiculous like A8.

this looks awfully like a bet where he
1. knows you are weak
2. knows he cant win the pot without betting out
i call. i think raising would be the worst thing you could do here, regardless of the read ive mentioned. for one, there is no value in it, since the only call beats you. secondly, it will cause him to play more cautiously in future hands. just calling, win or lose, should create a mistaken impression about your actual play. when i get called down by a Q high, its hard not to stereotype.

2. Because you think you are better than the person you are playing against, and you expect to make money.

This is interesting, and it leads me to feel the best place to bet would be the turn.
On the river, I don't know. There's not many hands that you can beat, but the action in the hand leads me to believe that you may be best here. He's likely either on a complete bluff or is betting for value. I think I fold this most of the time, call some of the time, and raise, hmmm... never?
