Assuming no post-flop reads...

1. I puke and call.
2. I scratch my head and call.
3. I like.
4. I like better if you're heads-up. Still prob +ev vs. regs.

1. I would raise a bit more on the flop (it's more intimidating), and probably raise his bet on the turn as well. I don't mind if you called the river and I don't mind if you folded. I just don't get what villain has, 78 and QT seems unlikely. Perhaps KK?

I almost never fold sets, but virtually every time I have had the feeling that I should fold, I've been up against a better hand.

2. Fold. I would have preferred to c/c river, becuase it's hard to put villain on a hand and the ace is such a good card to bluff.

3. Villain is representing a missed check raise on the flop, but whatever he had on the flop doesn't seem like much on the river. This is normally a very spewy line for a bluff, but here it works because all the draws just hit big time. Excellent work!

4. Whoa, this looks bad man. Now how do you represent AA after you called pre? You would never shove TT here and you never have a five either. I mean what hand can you have with this flop that makes you like it so much more than pre?

1. sick if you folded correctly, i think this has got to be a call though, he can have two pair.

2. Id fold this to a donk but be inclined to call against a good player.

3. like it, id make it 300 straight though

4. hope you hit some spades

Hand 1 - most really good players would always call here but I think you should at least be capable making a fold here, these marginal spots in big pots are one of those things that seperates good players from great players.

He obviously thinks he is ahead and knows you have a hand by the instabet he also doesnt care what the river is as it doesnt affect his hand so i think that the most likely hand you will see here is 78 - T9 would at least think before shoving river....possibility of 55 but seems an unsual way to play it - therefore its a smaller part of his range. 1010 would reraise preflop im assuming.

Very good laydown here

Hand 2 - seems perfect up until the river where C/C is far better than betting out. He probably has a draw after the flop and river action, either QK or 9x. If he has 9x, unless x is an A he is folding the river so there is no value there whereas if you check you will at least be able to snap off a bluff a certain % of the time. If he has QK you lose whatever you bet when he raises you, 250 this time. He will bet if you check and if you call you lose whatever he bets which would probably not be much more than 250.

As for the river decision, most donkish players aren't capable of bluffing here especially with the A coming up so would probably fold.

Hand 3 - I like it it looks as though he is just firing out a cheap bet because he thinks you are weak and wont call much more it all depends on what he thinks of you but the majority of the time he will fold here he probably has 10x or Qx. If he does call with a Q or a 10, then in the future you can value bet him thinner.

Hand 4 - Don't like this one - does he think you are capable of slowplaying AA/KK preflop in this situation? He has bet out into two people and as a big pair the majority of the time here and will probably call as it will be hard for him to put you on anything that is beating him apart from possibly 1010 and he probably thinks you would slowplay this. you will probably have to hit an A.

hand 3- ty for analysis guys im generally overly concerned with making value bets on later streets when i have the initiative- this hand definitely plays out more +ev with a check/call as we only miss value vs a narrow range of hands. tho its closer vs this player as hes a donkey

hand 4- i think this is a lot better than most people are making it out to be. an aggro regulars squeezing range against a loose co opener (me) is v wide in this spot. If we were holding say- Q9s- in villain's position would we cbet? also. does he fold a hand like 88 here?

hand 4- i see your point. It's a really interesting spot for villain (whether or not to cbet the flop with weaker parts of his range)

I think hand 4 is less about what villain puts sauce on and more about how little of his range he'll be comfortable calling with.
