playing 5-150 (blinds are 2/5) at the casino, sitting on the button with 10s. BB is short stacked and has been pushing any 2 face cards and PP 7 and higher.

action folds to UTG +2 raises to 20 and gets a 2 callers, I reraise to 40. BB shoves his stack ($108) action folds to me. I call.

BB turns over AA and I get no help

Had I not played with the guy before and saw his large preflop shove range when short stacked, I would have folded. Did I make a good call or are 10s a little weak to gamble in this situation?

wait so preflop you there was a raise to 20 and 2 callers and you only made it 40?? what was the point?
and then you were calling 68 more to win 268 dollars if im reading this right? vs a wide pushing range? even a tighter range,
maybe the beginners forum might be a better section to post in than high stakes.....

sorry reraised 40 not reraised to 40, made it 60 total to go. So I was calling 48 to win 238. I was thinking 4.5-1 odds are pretty good based on the range.

I don't doubt I belong in the beginner section, but as I was playing higher limit poker (sadly our casino's smallest limit is 5-150)

yeah i probably came off a little pissed there for some reason..

but if you think about the odds and his range its a pretty easy call, and this is suppose to be 3-6 and up.
