G2k4 is a pretty passive reggy type player. Plays 23/18 calls cbets a lot and c/f's most of the time he misses. He will bluff and he tends to do it at pretty bad times imo. I mean pretty much I expect AA/KK to fourbet preflop most of the time, expect AQ to not 3 bet (although it could) and QQ/TT to flat since the deck is crippled. So what do i do? Fold? Raise? Call?

K well now i thought about my line before. fold, call, raise are all options preflop. Check or bet are both viable on the flop. I guess it doesn't really make sense for me to bet 98 here and then shove it in because i bet the flop thinking he wouldn't raise me a lot and now im acting like he is raising me with a wide range.

Although kind of surprised people arent saying shoving is fine.

seems like an easy check on flop thats very likely to hit a flat oop range when we have 4 outs we'd love to hit. Betting can't be that bad though because I don't expect him to raise that often.

I think you need a couple more outs to shove here. If you want t fk with him i think i like a call better, but obv i think this is a fold.

shipping lets you get it in sooooooo bad

if u continue call and jam a blank river and try to rep a hand like JJ-AA or something

I think its very relevant that his raise makes the stacks fucking awful if he has any kind of a draw so expect him to float those often if hes thinking which he might not be

so he either has AQ+ or garbage here which is why we call cause our expectation is that a nitty TAG wont sling his stack in on the turn with 0 equity in a very big pot so if it goes check/we r set. you should also have some idea of how FPSy he is and if he is liable to check back a set on AQ on the turn cause hes insane: not to induce a river shove from 89o which is the only reason TO check back really

so fold or call u decide
I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

my guess 2k4 saw this post, remembered that Danny shoved and then showed his bluff when 2k4 folded, and wanted to know if hsnl 2p2ers thought it was bad.

here's the link to the 2p2 thread:
