Interesting hand that I played yesterday. Not sure if I like it or not. Discuss.
DoGGz $1000
Button $800
DoGGz Posts BB $10
Cards:
Folds to Button
Button raises to $20
DoGGz Calls $20
Flop:
DoGGz Checks
Button bets $400
DoGGz Raises to $1000
My thoughts. At worst I'm up vs AA, at best he ment to bet 40 but put in 1 too many zeros.

I like it. With that huge overbet, most likely he has QQ-AA (though I suppose he also could be getting cute with air, mistyped the bet like you suggested, or is trying to get all his money in on the flop with 7d8d ). Given that, you have significant folding equity since he's gotta be worried about a set here, and if he has QQ you're a slight favorite, KK a slight dog, and AA about a 2-1 dog. Either way, you got outs and aren't going to be drawing slim. FE combined with showdown value make this a +EV play I think.

He has to call 380 into a 1200 pot, at best you are a coinflip, and you have very little folding equity.
I mean you are fighting over a 40 dollar pot here, just let it go.
