Guy was 23/10 over 195 hands so I figured his 3bet was pretty tight. After the flop, the only thing I figured I could beat was queens. But I honestly thought he had aces. Should I have just pushed preflop?

Yes, folding KK with only 5 players is a big mistake. He could have had KQ, or AK, AQ, or even AJ as well. Push.

Yah, people often don't 'believe' big stacks and think you're just pushing them around. Pay off aces or stack him when he shows QQ. I push preflop as well.

Thats a good point, but the flop made it look even worse.

So pay him off even though he's super tight? I usually do, but you know how kings have been treating me lately so I thought I'd try and be a little more careful.

Really tough spot honestly. I can't tell you the best way to approach this, folding PF seems weak but most people aren't three betting QQ/JJ, and AA is at the least much more likely than QQ, and JJ now wins too. It also depends on how often you have been reraising. If he sees you as a tight player whose reraising range is somewhat narrow then maybe you can fold preflop. I would probably just push though PF, no sense in just calling PF here if you aren't going to go with it on a J high flop.
