Villain is 37.1/20.0/2.67 with a WTSD% of 13% over 70 hands.
He has been raising a ton recently and just bullying everybody around.
I figured there was a good chance he had a marginal hand when he check-raised me, and floated around with a gut shot. I decided to rep the king or some decent made hand on the river trying to get value from a weaker hand on the river. Good bet or spew?

all the time when they check-raise and give up with a weak marginal hand that they don't want to call down with so instead they play it badly.

personally I like the flop call and would make it 100% of the time with that gutshot. depending on my image and my opponents ability to call down, I would then bet the turn, or bet the river like you did.

a dangerous bluff would be like a 3-barrel or check-raising someone all in on the turn with a weak draw

Betting the turn is probably better.

Playing this on the turn is best IMO ~

Mostly because like someone mentioned in the above posts, C/R this flop in most cases represents a marginal hand not willing to call every street to see a SD, so I figure he's evaluating his hand here. Now what's his range from the blinds you didn't mention but elaborate here on what marginal hands he'd be CRing with.

AQ-KQ-QT-KT ?

In most cases the river K scares me away, probably made 2 pair am I right?
