There's a lot more aggression at 3/6 than what I'm used to and my swings have been wild. I'm running at like 2.8 ptbb/100 after 17k hands which is better than nothing but it definitely needs some help. Here's a couple tough spots:
This first hand was against a pretty standard tag and looking back I think I should have folded that turn if not that flop:
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3/$6
6 players
Converter
Stack sizes:
UTG: $816.55
Hero: $692
CO: $646
Button: $326.15
SB: $928
BB: $892.17
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG+1 with A A
UTG calls, Hero raises to $30, CO calls, 2 folds, BB calls, UTG folds.
Flop: 8 T K ($99, 3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $85, CO raises to $186, BB folds, Hero calls.
Turn: 7 ($471, 2 players)
Hero checks, CO raises all-in $430, Hero calls.
River: Q ($1331, 1 player + 1 all-in - Main pot: $1331)
Results:
Final pot: $1331
Next one was just weird so I 3bet it. Probably a pretty bad play too. Villain was 18/17 after a few hands but I'd just sat at the table.
Party Poker
No Limit Holdem Ring game
Blinds: $3/$6

Stack sizes:
Hero: $627
UTG+1: $600
CO: $227.90
Button: $1445.60
SB: $644.48
BB: $454.68
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is UTG with A A
Hero raises to $24, UTG+1 calls, 4 folds.
Flop: 7 Q T ($57, 2 players)
Hero bets $47, UTG+1 raises to $220, Hero raises all-in $556, UTG+1 calls all-in $356.
Uncalled bets: $27 returned to Hero.
Turn: 8 ($1209, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $1209)
River: 5 ($1209, 0 player + 2 all-in - Main pot: $1209)
Villain here was 32/9 but pretty much unknown to me as I'd just began my session when this one took place:

Hero: $741
Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is BB with K K
2 folds, CO raises to $18, 2 folds, Hero raises to $44, CO calls.
Flop: T 6 6 ($91, 2 players)
Hero bets $75, CO calls.
Turn: 4 ($241, 2 players)
Hero bets $150, CO raises to $450, SmackinYaUp...?

Hand 1: Tough spot, vs a nitty player I fold the flop. Vs other players I call the flop and shove a safe turn card. Very read depenndant, but vs a lot of players folding the flop is a mistake. Reraising the flop is no good, because I don't want to get all the money in either completely crushed by a set/two pair or even money with a big draw, you definitely want to try to get it all in on a safe turn, and you did, so nh.
Hand 2: I think calling and pushing a safe turn card is best, but a push isn't all that bad because I think the vast majority of his hand range we are ahead of.
Hand 3: Really tough spot here, what's his AF? He played it like he flopped tens full or something, but maybe he plays JJ/QQ the same way. I think this is a fold though vs players who take this line, it's almost always a monster.
