This is for one of the two tables I was playing. You guys asked for it.. so here it is.. this session lasted about 25 minutes before I quit, ill post longer sessions in the future. I'm just too worn out right now to play longer than 25 minute sessions..

I'd play longer but I get an upset stomach because the amount of money involved is so great. I'm also paranoid that I'll lose a bunch of money at some point lol. Im still having problems getting over this, its just more money than Ive ever seen or played with in my life.

What exactly is the point of this post?

Seeing 5 folds then raise with AQ get a free card for a straight and have someone pay you off with 2 pair? Yeah I am so excited.

(this post was written in a generally sarcastic tone, cause I dont really see the point in it)

Because we requested for him to start posting his sessions... so he decides to do the community a favor and let us see what one session at the high stakes is like... and his session lasted 5 hands. We got a nice glimpse into the high stakes world from the players perspective and hope he continues posting the sessions
Dealer: bencathers has two pair, Aces and Deuces
Dealer: Tbags has two pair, Kings and Jacks
Dealer: Tbags finished the tournament in 256th place
Tbags [observer]: another scumbag gets there on this site lol

i like this post... i especially like the fact you admit the amount of money makes you feel uneasy and tbh i found it very funny you end up with an upset stomach!!!

one of my mates dabbles in 5/10 NL and told me how he desensitizes himself and doesnt think about or relate to the actual cost of money on the table. Hes just started a poker blog, ill ask him to consider making a post on this topic.
Experimenting - 200NL 5max.

It seems to me that it's easier to forget the money side of things when you play live... that's what chips do for me anyway. My competitive spirit gets woken up when I'm face to face with other players with chips in my hand and other things tend to fade away.

Nice to see a few hands. Ta.

Wow calm down guys, I wasnt trying to inslut anyone (I put a NOTE after the post telling that I was just being sarcastic).

I am at work boring my self to death, waiting to get off and go play some poker, and I see a post "COMPLETE session...", I am like yeah that can help kill some time, and I see 5 hands, and only ONE hand that was just standard play. I HAD to write sth about it. Dont get me wrong, I'd most delighted to see a FULL session (not neccessarily at 1000 NL, any meaningfull stakes would do) with many hands, good plays, BAD plays, bad beats, good reads, BAD reads, lucky breaks etc.

Oh and smakingyaup, I'd appreciate some manners, I dont know you, you dont know me so keep it down plz. Unless you are being funny which I can understand, I am a funny kind of guy too.

Waiting on that full session HH still, keep it un-"censored"!

B cool all.

I have a mate who plays 5/10NL and 30/60 limit.. He was telling me that he's done it enough now that he's totally desensitized to the value of money. The only time he's had a problem with it was when he moved up to 10/20NL and was welcomed with a couple of 2 out 5K suckouts and was forced to move back down.

Once he was describing one of his 5/10NL sessions to me (bare in mind that he is a crazy aggressive player so has some big swings). He said to me completely calmly that he'd just dropped 4K, then a half hour later he tells me he's made that back and is now up 6K. Crazy.

as you move up in stakes it becomes relative. I worry much more about how much of my bankroll i lost then how many dollars i lost on any given day.
