I've always seemed to have an issue with my stack in relation to the pot in threebet pots 100bb deep. I always have a atrocious spr for doing any bluffing at all after i cbet. I feel like i either need to make my cbets much smaller or much bigger. How do you guys counter this horrible spr spot? It's almost i should be cbetting rarely (considering i 3bet a shitload and check many flops, maybe c/f and c/r balancing may be in order?)

I often throw out a small 2nd barrel. Like 225 on the turn into a 580 pot(after a 165 cbet on the flop), making it 1030 on the river when called with 485 behind. This bet is scary because it looks like an attempt to commit any made hand (which it basically does).

I of course balance with strong hands and sometimes even 3 barrel the rest on the river if missed draws are heavily in villains range.

What's the counter to people who make small 4-bets then do this shit? I've only seen it a couple times and it's pretty annoying.

danny just think of his range and how wide it is vs ur range
then think of flop texture in relation to those narrower ranges
also keep in mind how much easier it is to make moves IP

So IP on a dry board you often only need to bet 1/4 pot if thats what u want to do

OOP maybe 2/5 pot

work with the draws from there and you are allowed to check also
I got more flava than fruitstripe gum

5-bet shoving a wider range than AK and QQ+ if you think he's fos instead of flatting. The only drawback here is that we're likely to be ahead less, we're also likely to fold out hands we want him in the pot with, but it will get us more action on KK+ in preflop stackoff spots. It's probably not even that good of an idea.

Just a thought.
