Im just having a real issue making adjustments to beat 10/20 NL. I keep tilting when I shouldnt, players are too aggro, too many 3-bet bluffs or 3-bet raises pre-flop to keep me sane. What sort of adjustments should a tight-aggressive player make to beat 10/20 NL 6-max? I just seem so frustrated with my play at the end of every 10/20 session and I find myself losing money at 10/20 and bouncing back to 5/10, making money, then losing it at 10/20.. is this normal for someone who has only begun to play 10/20 recently online?

Anyone here have experiences playing 10/20 NL and survive and continue playing it or moving higher?

Edit: Recent hand (was I tilting?)

Villain is CallEverythn (stack is $1648 and I cover), was pushing me around a lot, showed a bluff earlier against me. I have AJ and open raise to $70 on hijack. Everyone folds to villain on big blind who calls.

Flop is 456
I bet $130, villain raises to $390, I call.
Turn J
Villain bets $940, I push for another $248.

Results in white below:
Villain calls and shows KhTh and whiffs the river and I take it down. I still feel like I was tilting hoping the villain wouldnt fire the turn so I could take it down. Just seems like a longshot.
BR now: $106900
Playing now: $10/10/20 - $20/40 NL live, $10/20 NL full ring online, $10/20 NL 6-max online, $20/40 FL 6-max online, $100/200 FL live
Goal: $125000 for $25/50 NL live

hes been pushing you around, but calling this flop sucks. just check behind on flop if u want to keep pot small and snap off a bluff.

are you playing on stars? if so, then its all about game/selection

Bodog and Stars, mostly Bodog.

What players should I avoid on Stars?

Continuing to grind out 5/10 6-max. It seems harder than it used to. Though Bodog 5/10 is still way easier than other 5/10s I think. I guess ill move to 10/20 6-max when my bankroll hits 6 figures AND I feel like ive run out of things to learn at 5/10. And I am still learning stuff lol!

Today I learned about the art of deteriming which turn/river cards are good for second/third barrel bluffing, as well as float/bluffing. Well I already knew this stuff to a limited degree, but I felt like today I advanced my knowledge on it considerably.

when you get good at hand reading, you get better at knowing when an opponent will stop liking his hand. you fire more barrels when you can guess they probably dont like their hand anymore due to whatever cards come out.

yea, something like that

like when you know they will call your button raise out of the blinds with a small pair, then check call the flop when there are no big cards. these people are so fun to play against because the only time you know they wont fold, they are raising, which makes it sooo easy for you.
